Toshio Iwai's Otocky

rachel and kelly, you know toshio iwai from the Nintendo DS musical toy/instrument Electroplankton. iwai is also responsible for the new electronic instrument produced by Yamaha called Tenori-On. that link takes you to a presentation by iwai.

today i played his first interactive piece 1987's Otocky. it was originally made to be played on an expansion bay that clamped onto the nintendo entertainment system. i am not overestimating when i say it is glorious.
