Those boys down there aren't dressed up for nothing. There seems a level of simple virtuosity brought to Persona 3 that I am unfamiliar with. I could compare it to Jet Set Radio, maybe. In other words, it's at least a must try. I am noticing a trend with Atlus, a rising star, this being the triumvirate or third pillar of a Trauma Center and Etrian Odyssey TRIFORCE. Someone over there is definitely paying attention.
Today -
Persona 3 - of course. Then I wasted my money trying to make a ps2 retrospective: all the online games I never paid any attention to.
Bought:
- Outrun Coast 2 Coast - very fast. No one was online.
- Star Wars: Battlefront - neat. Online was disconnected just yesterday.
- Resident Evil Outbreak - online still works. Doesn't seem interesting. The chat room was full of people saying cum over and over. Which made me say Okay.
- Monster Hunter - a small glimmer of hope, online still works, although single play seems more interesting than multiplay. Unless someone I knew had the game or something.
Yesterday -
Sonic Rush Adventure, Nintendo DS, 2007 - This one feels more like a true sequel to Sonic 2 or "a real Sonic" than perhaps any in recent years. Notably, I never played Sonic CD, I only watched Kelly.
Drawn to Life, Nintendo DS, 2007 - Whoever designed the front end to this deserves some credit; the place where you get to draw your own character works pretty well. Unfortunately, you then have this abomination walking around that in no way meshes with the background. After that, its a pretty bland mario knock-off.
The Day Before That -

Freshly-Picked : Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land, Nintendo DS, 2007 - It's about a 35 year old who becomes obsessed with faeries and hopes of going to Rupee Land, where "all your wildest dreams come true". Seems like a Tingle themed Nintendo take on a Grow game, where your actions are inevitable you just do them in a different order each time. A more personal creation than we usually see anymore. The characters are all crudely drawn and americanized. I love it when Japan does that.
...
I can't think of anything that is totally garbage. I`m sure I tried one. Mostly, I've just been playing Persona. Metroid is a memory.
Someone please tell me to work on video. I need to buy some AAA batteries for my bluetooth mouse.
